Most people say that Muhammad Ali was the best Boxer of all time but he always dances around the ring to defeat his opponent and he won't be able to do that too much in this small arena.

If not Ali then who would you say would be the most dominant in this league?

Floyd Mayweather would be dead meat in this set up against Pacquiao or any half decent brawler so I want to see him put his money where his mouth is. I love this concept but am yet to see a fight in this new set up.

They need ropes or a fence though to avoid trips and falls or a wall, some kind of barrier. That's why MMA has a cage, because you can't be pushed out that way. The fights they do have in a ring usually have referees that catch them to keep them from falling and then place them back in the middle of the ring.
This looks to be the future for boxing as guys like Mayweather have all but destroyed common respect for boxing, not all his fault though you have to lay a lot of blame on the alphabet organizations and Mayweather is only the most recent runner. Still room for good defence, a Willie Pep style of defence (not running away but just lateral movement and good headwork), but the pendulum will swing towards great attackers as it was meant to be. The other alternative is to have a normal ring with ropes but a ring half the size so there is no escape.

Tyson would undoubtably have been the best...I would think also this may bring him out of retirement?Would be crazy to see a Bean vs Tyson match even now with these rules...

Klitchko/Foreman those types would excel even more here.Ali types would not.Certianly the biggest advantage with these rules are the harder hitters.

In lieu of ropes I will not request an alligator pit. Area-wise it is almost identical to a fifteen by fifteen feet square ring. They are moving in the right direction but not far enough. I would encourage an even smaller circle. A circle with a diameter of about 13 feet would be ideal.

Fighters with good movement can still game it. Despite the lack of ropes the circle allows for some different evasive measures.
