Also I think Wlad would surpass Lewis with 2-3 more good wins. Wlad's resume is now so full of 'decent' and 'semi decent' fighters that at one point quantity have to surpass quality.

If you own 20 Ford Mustangs, the combined worth of your cars is still higher than say a Mercedes,a Lexus,a Audi, and a BMW.

Wlad's resume is so full now that sheer numbers is going to put him ahead of Lewis.

In terms of H2H, Wlad gets knocked out pretty badly by Lewis. I think it will be a classic chess match of skills until Lewis lands a uppercut that shuts Wlad's legs off.

there are the same number of semi decents and decents as there has ever been on wlads resume, about 3 or 4.

Since when did making a vast quantity of national to euro level defences come close to equalling or surpassing plenty of world title defences? Your logic claims that EVERY HW fighter with 50 or 60 fights is superior to a HW champion. WHAT??

All that does is make you a great "euro" level champ at best.

LOL. Stick to Pokemon, kid. The only "offensive skill" Wlad possesses is his ability to cause offense thru lack of it.

It seems the only people pushing this notion seriously are either a) ideologically opposed to Lewis or b) attention-seekers. Or both.

Which means it really isn't worth discussing any further.

Some of the guys that gave Lewis problems and beat him, beat the guys that beat Wladimir though.

What bugs me about Wlad is that he never does more than he has to. He's not great in that sense, and I certainly wouldn't call him "a great". When you scroll through his fights, which ones are rewatchable? None. They are all stinkers.

He doesn't do more than he has to, and his biggest wins are all decisions I.e Byrd I, Peter I, Haye, Ibragimov, Povetkin etc. He couldn't even knock out Jennings who was a 14-1 underdog.

Add to that, pretty much all the fighters he's faced over the last 5-7 years have been stationary, one-trick ponys who can't even punch hard but stand in front of him with zero head movement or ability for that matter, and if they can't get the job done in a couple of rounds their limited stamina makes them sitting ducks for Wlad past round 4.

Lennox's resume is also far better. "Lennox quit at the age of 37". Lol.

Ok - So Sven Ottke is the greatest super middleweight of all times? 21 defences - undefeated and fought semi-decent opponents all his career.

Boxing is about quality, not quantity. Look at Sugar Ray Leonard - arguably top 15 of all times. Doesn't have a lot of fights, but his resume is riddled with quality throughout.

Yeah God forbid he was fed an easy opponent like Razor Ruddock instead of the beast Ross Purrity at the same stage.

This guy is still crying that Lewis beat up Tyson and is widely regarded as a greater fighter than Tyson.

nevermind this Wlad would be undefeated v lewis opponents nonsense, Wlad couldn't even beat (nay, got destroyed in seconds by) just one failed contender from the lewis era rotted to his worst and retired shape ever.

Wladimir would murder Razor Ruddock...Wlad would beat every single fighter Lennox Lewis ever fought.. If Wlad was to fight Mike Tyson on the night Lewis fought Tyson, when Tyson was addicted to prescription anti-depressants, alcohol, ******* & cannabis then Wlad would have knocked out Tyson within 2rds..Holyfield was robbed of his titles against Lewis in their second fight. Wladimir would have defeated that version of Holyfield fairly easily.
