Thomas Hearns is arguably the greatest Jr Middleweight, but Mike McCallum, and even Davey Moore, if it lasts late and turns into a war of attrition, could have a decent chance of beating Thomas.

at 154 Hearns would destroy Moore, in a different way than Duran - who completely out skilled him and beat him up, Hearns probably has a competitive fight for a couple rounds then KOes him cold.

Duran was the only one amateur, or pro to floor Moore, and that was partially due to some dental work.Tommy's power is no joke, of course, but the one person he would not want to get into a war of attrition with is Davey Moore.Moore would do some serious damage if he did.His best option of winning is to keep Davey outside, and stay away from his power.

I want to flip the cards and say Hearns, before he faced Hagler, was probably the worst guy to decide to trade with.

You're right, but with Moore, you're dealing with a different animal.Shame that Tony Ayala Jr had his problems, Tommy would have dealt with him too.

By 1995 thru 1998 Camacho ate his way up to 147 then 160 and fought Duran (2) and Leonard at 160 so he could have fought Tommy.
All the boys balloned up and fought each other the "good ol" chubby boys".
Picking up the pennies was a little easier when you didn't have to make weight.

True that.Camacho vs Verderosa would have been a barnburner, however.

Magarito and McCallum would stop Hearns.

McCallum-Hearns would be an incredible fight. McCallum certainly would have a great chance to stop Hearns.

Margarito. Lol, no way man. He would walk straight forward and be a wide open target for Hearns' jab and right hand. It would be a massacre.

McCallum has a legit chance vs any 154 lber through out history, however I wouldn't favor him vs Hearns
