Yeah, I think he would be a factor in any era, the guy has incredible power and that's what gave him his success, I think he could duplicate that in other eras.. I venture to say he would be a top 10 guy in any era, and most he would be top 5

I don't see any reason why he wouldn't.

Anyone who punched as hard as Jackson would have an impact in any era.

Sure he would even w/o the 154 lb division.

            Move over Tiger Flowers.

Who can say how Julian would have coped, living in another era and with the knowledge of boxing and training methods which were considered sufficient back then.

Though, in my 40 years involved in boxing, I've never witnessed a more devastating puncher than "The Hawk". For good and for bad. Some KO's were just too brutal to enjoy.

And later on, it had me admire Mike McCallum even more, who had stayed on his feet while taking the (at the time) unknown Jackson's best punches in 1986. "The hardest hitter I ever met" McCallum said when summoning up his 55-fight career. And they just fought for one and a half round.

Jacksons power was that scary kind of power, he would be a factor in any era.
