Certainly the biggest fight at light-heavyweight in the late 90s that should have happened. If any light-heavy would have defeated Jones at that time period then it would have been Michalczewski. A pressure fighter who moved pretty well, with a solid jab and power in both hands. He may well have got to Jones who we subsequently found out didn't have the best of chins. Then again Jones was so fast on his feet and with his hands that he probably would have peppered Michalczewski badly on the way in and then got out of the way and have Michalczewski chasing a shadow for long periods. Jones did allow himself to get caught on the ropes quite a lot though so Michalczewski would definitely have had a good chance but you'd have to favour Jones.

I would pick Roy to win with a Richard Hall like beating. If I remember correctly, Richard hall fought both of them and he stated he felt Roy would have beaten Michalczewski easily. Too bad we never got to
see it happen.

If that had happened then it would have been quite easily his best win at light heavyweight. One of those important fights that never happened.

Would beating Darius really have improved his legacy that much? Yes he would have unified the divison, but DM was a pretty average belt holder.

Roy would have won a pretty comfortable decision I'm sure.
