Now what does that mean? Don't tell me you're another one of these people who thinks Golota "just" threw low blows for no reason? I explained his reasons several times already.

Remember there was just one round left, the low blows saved Bowe again.
Actually there were 3 more rounds left, the fight was stopped in the 9th.

Don't you think it's ironic that you say the low blows saved Bowe when every single time Golota threw them it was to save himself? Like in the second fight when he was almost TKO'd he saved himself with a low blow to recover for 2 minutes.

Golota was notorious in quitting years after his 2nd fight with Bowe, It was surprised he showed a lot of heart from a bad cut after the fourth round and managed to even decked Bowe in the 5th.

There was absolutely no reason for Golota to throw any low punches, as he was clearly winning the fight and could just have cruised to a victory. Bowe was exhausted to say the least. Ready to go.

Also, you might wanna check up on your facts before posting. It was a 10 round bout, so there was in fact just 1 round left. Golota simply screwed it up.

Also, do you know what was going on inside Golota's head or something? How would you for a fact know what made him throw low blows?

After all these years I have always been under the impression that Golota threw the low blows because he was tired and weakened.
He just couldn't keeps his hands from falling while trying to hit the body.

I have put the gloves on, never fought an amateur bout though, I just trained, and I do remember that after I threw to many punches and gassed myself that it was really hard to control where my punches were going and a lot of them dropped before being delivered.

I was only about 130-140 pounds back then, Golota is a heavyweight, do you understand how much harder it is for those guys to not wear themselves out when throwing thunder punches?

There were many reasons but you keep ignoring them. Bowe was hurting Golota every single round, was able to survive all of Golota's record breaking power punches landed and was able to knock him down as well.

If Golota didn't throw those low blows he might have gotten stopped in the second fight after getting knocked down. That there alone shows that Golota hit low to SURVIVE. Because he was a coward.

When will you get it through your head: Golota was fouling every time right after Bowe hurt him, to survive and catch a break.

I forgot about that detail so you're right about that, but every minute probably felt like 10 rounds to a coward like Golota who tried every way to get out of the fight, so it was far from easy to make it another round and a half for a coward like this.

Somebody on youtube told me that After the 3rd round after Bowe knocked him down and was about to TKO him before hitting him low so that he could recover for 2 minutes, he told his corner to stop the fight. I am still trying to make sure this is true so I will get back to you all on that.

In round 8 @ 1:45 Bowe lands a hard right hand that stuns Golota. About 10 seconds later Golota lands a blatant low blow.

At 1:22 of round 9 Bowe stuns Golota with a counter right hand. Golota responds with low blows 15 seconds later.

Less than 10 seconds before Golota threw the last low blows that DQ'd him Bowe swiftly snapped his head back with two jabs.

Not one low blow came while he was dominating. They only came right after Bowe hurt him with some good shots.
If you do not see a pattern there^ then you are simply refusing to accept the truth.

Hmm.. just rewatched the fight for the sake of this thread. You might catch some miniature things if you watched it a dozen times but to me, it just looked like both guys took a lot but Bowe took more and yes Golota threw too many low blows but I'm not sure if it was after every time Bowe 'hurt' him. For example the first time Golota had Bowe down in round 2 he went after him trying to finish and hit him with several low blows. He was doing this same thing throughout when trying to finish Bowe, including the 2nd round headbutt, it was part of his dirty tactic to finish the show. Bowe is one tough mofo and took unbelievable punishment, Golota was just mental.

Bowe took a hell of a lot of punishment and was decked in the 2nd and 5th. Wobbled on several other occasions. If Golota hadn't had this meltdown again, he would have won the fight. There was no reason for him not to just box and win.
yea,,there were times in the fight where bowe seemed to be on his way out but then golota would foul him. I guess he was arm weary. golota was always a hard one to figure out
