Foreman would ko shavers, I would favour foremans monster punching, pressure and his long jab would be useful against Lewis and strong feeling foreman blows him out early. Holmes would be in a scary fight with foreman, could beat foreman but don't see him knocking him out, Liston no chance. Vitali foreman would be great but again George's power and chin gets him through 12. Foreman could knockout the unknockoutableComment

I agree that holmes would beat foreman 9 out of 10 times, but i dont think holmes would stop him.. I can see larry easily outpointing him, but not a stoppage...Comment

He didnt even knockout foreman,,,, It was more a stoppage due to exhaustion and mental fatigue...
I think foreman is beatable, but i think he has a granite chin, and i really cant think of a plausible scenario where he would be laid out cold..... Maybe the foremen that fought lyles gets stopped by a monster puncher like lennox, shavers, Vitali, but im not 100% certain..
Foreman cleary has one of the best chins ever...
I used to be of the opinion that Lennox would stop him. The Lennox that came out against the likes of Grant, Goloto and Briggs, where he felt under threat and came out firing. I got challenged on that and acknowledged to myself that maybe I hadn't seen enough of Big George to make that call. So I went back and watched the career set of Foreman that Simbros had kindly posted.
There's very little evidence to suggest that Foreman could be put out cold. We know that Lewis can. So I've changed my mind on that one. I was more glorifying a British fighter and the champion of my youth, who I consider to be the last great heavyweight.
Ali partly beat him because he took away the jab of a man who was enamoured with his own power and believed that any fighter on the ropes was finished, which he stated after he fought Luis Pires. Ali was at ringside for that, in the third round (if my memory serves me correct) when the Brazilian was pumulled with jabs, gassed and went to the ropes, Foreman was so anxious to finish him that his punches became so tense that he barely landed a shot.
What would have been interesting in a matchup with the likes of Lewis and Holmes is that they wouldn't have gone to the ropes. They would have tried to out jab him and set up right hands just like he'd be doing. That would have made for great contests.Comment

all that rope-a-dope stuff, watch the actual fight and you see how open Foreman was all night for straight rights. ali was landing them at will.
He'd probably be more respectful against Lewis, and Lewis's hands weren't as quick as Ali, but it's worth mentioning that Foreman fought more like a caveman against Roman, Norton, and Ali than he had earlier. In love with his power.
Foreman might be all wrong for Tyson, but I wouldn't rule out the possiblity. Tyson was a faster starter with power from different angles and sides than Frazier, and Frazier never was the same after nearly dying after FOTC.
I give Tyson a 35-40% chance of winning (and KOing Foreman, he ain't winning by decision)
I give Lewis a 50% chance of winning, but equal 25/25 for KO and decision.
Lewis would likely be cautious, but was a good finisher when he went for the kill (golota, ruddock, briggs, morrison).Comment
