Weston was fairly good.
The reason I brought up Steve Belloise was because he was one of the top middleweights of the 1940s and like the murderers row fighters you are currently fetishizing he had more than his own fair share of quality wins. If it is so obvious to you that Holman Williams was a great fighter then why not Steve Belloise?
It's quite simple, Belloise doesn't have the W resume of Holman Williams who I believe has the best MW resume of all time.

Hagler along with Monzon and Hopkins was one of the most dominant middleweights in history.
You believe wrongly about Williams if you think that, you must be pretending that all his defeats and draws never actually happened. It is not clear that Williams middleweight career was better than Belloise's, sure if you add in Williams welterweight career then perhaps that does push Williams past Belloise but even then it is probably fairly close.

Were you the creepy pedo that sneaked around the building and kept looking through the window while panting like an asthmatic horse?
I will always feel the need to call you a ******, because that’s what you are - a clueless ******.

Leonard and Hearns are very likely a lot better than Holman Williams ever was.

Williams was called as good as Robinson, by Eddie Futch.
Beat Charley Burley on three occasions, the bigger Lloyd Marshall on two occasions, the monstrous Jack Chase four out of four, Eddie Booker, Kid Tunero, Steve Belloise, Aaron Tiger Wade, Bert Lytell twice, a light-heavyweight Archie Moore, legendary puncher Bob Satterfield, and Joe Carter. Seriously you want to debate this?
Tell me who did Hagler or Monzon beat that stack up to that resume?Last edited by Holywarrior; 05-01-2014, 02:31 PM.

Well if Eddie Futch said so then it must be true! Williams' and Robinson's careers tell a different story.
I'm not denying he defeated a lot of good fighters but yet again you are blind to his defeats. Do you just pretend that they didn't happen? I'm being serious here, how do you square his defeats in with your claims about Williams? I'll tell you what Monzon didn't do, he didn't lose in his prime years and Hagler only officially lost once in what you could call his prime years and that was to an opponent who was pretty damn good indeed.

The irony of this clearly goes over your head.
I think it justifiable to call a person ******ed when he among other things seriously believes that it's arguable that Steve Belloise resume is better than Holman Williams', who may very well have the best win column ever at middleweight.Last edited by greeh; 05-01-2014, 03:20 PM.
