Hagler hasnt been mentioned.... He had a great two-handed jab, that he could use to set-up shots, or he could use it like a hammer and just pound guys with it,, very versatile jab

Not really, at least not when dumbasses from NSB are posting. Love the Kovalev quote, by the way. He's my current favorite, dude is badass. I hope Hopkins schools Stevenson for the lineal title.

not too sure what you are referring to when you said "not really". but indeed, kovalev is ****ing badass (personality). i can't really judge his boxing yet , but definitely fun to watch!

Carlos Monzon's jab is one of the greatest weapons ever but NEVER gets talked about

I put a link for clips of the sibson fight. Maybe his best jabbing performance and best overall performance

Willie Pep 's jab was outstanding, it was offensive & defensive he used in & out and with his lateral movement. He could double and triple it up and score at will with it and used it supremely to set up his combinations. One of the greatest ever that so many copied throughout history.

Lexi Arguello's jab was a beautiful punch that could freeze an opponent, that's how hard he could land it at times. Terrific punch! Ray.

I meant it's not really rare when everyone agrees when only the regulars post here. I hope someone beats Stevenson so at least that guy could challenge Kovalev, since Stevenson won't fight Sergey.

Excellent call. Buchanans jab was generally thought to be among the very best in boxing P4P of his era. He won basically all his fights with it. Truly a forgotten great, with one of the most educated jabs you'll ever see.

His fights against HOFer Ismael Laguna had some brilliant boxing on display, particularly in the jabbing department.

The Quartey jab is the best for me though. I think it's arguably the best in history. Monzons jab was brilliant as SC mentioned.

Yes! Literally was running through what everyone has posted here and was a bit surprised Monzon doesn't even get a shout. I reckon DLH and Whitaker probably had better jabs but Monzon has one of the most enduring lead hands in the MW division.
