eddie futch was an observant man and he knew his boxing. The "Greatest" had many many *****s in his armor. Futch taught two guys with vastly different styles to exploit just two of those holes.

Actually Futch wasn't Frazier's trainer when he beat Ali. Yank Durham was.

Very overrated based on the Ali fights with Norton. Ray Arcel outclasses Futch any day of the week and it's not difficult to see.

I think outclasses is a strong word. Both were fantastic. I believe they even worked together with holmes.

The irony is that roach is a better trainer than futch ever was. roach has almost certainly passed futch on the all time scale.
