    Intellectual Fighters

Intellectual Fighters not inside the ring but outside of it.

Fighters get a bad rap for being unintelligent and that may be true for the majority but how about those fighters of quick wit or well educated or in other words intelligent fighters.

    Chris Eubanks: Very well spoken

The Klit Brothers: Speak Many languages and also many Degrees

    Bobby Czyz: Member of MENSA

Juan Manuel Marquez: Degree in Accounting

    Ali: Quick of wit

Randell Tex Cobb: Looks of a Neanderthal with the wit of a poet.

    Who else?

Marco Antonio Barrera was a law student, so was Juan Diaz.

I'd say De la hoya, maybe Ray Leonard, George Foreman, Malignaggi to a certain extent, Robert Garcia

Larry Holmes is pretty smart, when it comes to running his businesses. I've often heard Marciano was fairly intelligent and wasn't Gene Tunney considered well read as well?

^^ Yeah, Tunney was the first name it came to my mind, too. Perhaps because I remember well reading that he treated fights like rounds of chess.

Polish amateur legend, Jerzy Kulej, was a pretty intelligent fellow as well.

Both of the klits hold ph.d's.

Bobby Czyz and Nicky Piper were members of MENSA.

                  That I did not know.

James "Bonecrusher" Smith was the first heavyweight titlist with a college degree.

Ray Leonard always struck me as a fighter that displayed intellect inside and outside the ring.

I read once that Chuvalo scored very high on an IQ test when he was younger. Not sure how true it is.
