Top 5 get back up moments

Best one I've seen is Holmes against Shavers. It was brutal and he even came back to win that fight.

All of Ali's knockdowns were rough and he won most of them in the end.

Oh of cource, Foreman against Lyle too.

That was a fight full of "get up moments"

A recent fight I watched, Saad Muhammad vs Ritchie Kates. Saad went down from a monster right hand and looked like he wasn't going to beat the count. Came back with a KO win.

I was positive that when Bradley got caught with that left hook from Holt that he was gone for the full count. I was floored myself when he got up from it. That is without doubt one of the cleanest left hooks, from a monster puncher, that I've ever seen someone get up from without too damage.

It's rare that someone gets caught by a huge puncher, with a perfect counter left hook that he doesn't see, that lands as flush as it could, in the middle of exchange, and gets up without being completely out of it.

Marciano Charles II... Ezzard got up from 2 devastating kd's to inflict damage that would have surely been stopped in any of the later eras

Similar one was Eubank Malinga, when Sugarboy was dropped heavily by a big right hand in the 5th, and imo, got back up to take the fight.. Eubank got it on a sd, but a very questionable win nevertheless

I was hoping no one had mentioned either of these two fights. Classic get-up moments. I was really impressed with Benn as he was really hit with the kitchen sink in that first round. Jesus McClellan was one scary dude at the time.

I think a recent one I'd like to add in was Darren Barker vs Daniel Geale. When he went down in the 6th round I didn't think he'd get up at all as he was really hurt. I was impressed with the heart.

One of my favourites was Tyson-Douglas. Douglas said before the fight that he hoped he would just last the first round - when he went down from that monstrous uppercut, it seemed like he was out. Yet, he came back to stop Mike the very next round.
