LOL! I would love to see the answer to this question. But I don't expect you to get one.

          I don't think he'd beat Chavez.

I think the best fighter he could beat is julio ceasar chavez...

And there is many more, depends on your ATG criteria. I could see him dismantling MAB, EM, probably beating guys in close fights like zarate, gomez, hopkins, toney, argeullo

I would favor him to win by UD over mcllarin, ross, jimmy wilde, Cenfran Garcia

            IMO

And this is coming from one of the most passionate Floyd fans I know.
When was the golden age of boxing my man?

I hate when interesting topics get hijacked by ****ing trolls. Just mention his name and you see this ****.

Nelson would be a good fight, Saddler would be tough with his aggressive, dirty, in-your-face style, Arguello's got the ability to beat anyone especially with the power he has but I think Floyd's all wrong for him style wise, Kid Chocolate would be a great match up of skill and boxing ability, even Casamayor I think would have been interesting and was actually being negotiated in the early 00's to be made but the sides couldn't come to agreement (And a lot of posturing by both sides)

I think Floyd just has the edge on most of these fights, plenty wouldn't be easy but his combinaton of skill, speed, defense, power and size at the weight is going to be a tough out for anyone. I wouldn't pick anyone against him.

Toughest fight? Hmm, I would say probably either Nelson or Saddler.
Way about 135 140 where I felt may weather was still devastating. Because at welter it's hard to see him win against guys like hearns and Forrest. At 135 a Duran matchup is my most coveted fantasy fight. Also I see Chavez sr giving him a potential trilogy. Depending on how much stock you put into the shoulder injury. Rounds 10/12 against Castillo 1 showed may weather wasn't some coward willing to lay down.

Are we talking about any ATGs Head to head, or just the ATGs at the 130-154 range

Talking about any ATGs i favor floyd over alot of them since i have him in the top 50 AT

If its just guys at his weight class, I would only favor a select few to beat him heads up in a 12 round fight ie duran, hearns, SRL, SRR, armstrong, gans, and 50/50 with ike, manny, pernell

Benitez due to his style would cause floyd alot of problems IMO

I think Mayweather would stand a good chance against anyone from 130-147 in history. Considering the success Castillo had in the first fight i'd love to see a match up between Mayweather and the very greatest high pressure and/or high volume fighters in history, Duran, Chavez, Armstrong, Pryor, Pacquiao and perhaps a few others. I think Mayweather might get the better of Ike Williams and Arguello more times than not. Mayweather-Whitaker at 135 would be fascinatng to see who wins that battle of skill and defence, ditto Mayweather-Benitez at 147. Anyway apart from maybe Armstrong I think Mayweather would get the better of anyone from 130-147 that came before the 1940s.
