I thought about you when this thread first started and thought for sure you would have duran-SRL, duran-barkley, maybe duran-moore...


You like gattiward 3 better than 1,, Those are the best 2 fights out of the 3, but always thought 1 was slightly better than 3,,

Had the question been my favorite Duran fight, it would've been Moore, because of the way Duran incrementally and methodically took him apart. That fight was way too one-sided to qualify for this topic. As for Barkley, it's in my top 10, maybe even 7th.

Quite frankly, I'd be hard-pressed to tell which of the Gatti-Ward fights I was watching if I tuned-in with the sound off. I picked the last one simply because it decided the winner of the trilogy. Don't put me on the spot by asking me who won.

As for Hearns/Hagler, I'd say short but sweet. What it lacked by it's brevity, was compensated by it's quality. There was more action in that fight than I've observed in others that went the distance...

By the way, if a great fight is too short, just watch it repeatedly. That's how one would enjoy watching a fella like, say, Mike Tyson.
