In your previous post you mentioned J.D. Jackson, he was one I also expected to go far. When he was coming up he was beating former champs like Davey Moore and Lupe Aquino, both of which I felt still had some fight left in them.
Sure, I can remember JDJ being described as the next SRL in one article. Vaca was the former ww champ, looked awfully small (or was made to) in there with Jones.

Castro-Takehara is a fight to watch if anyone hasn't already seen it.

Castro is probably one of the best wins on Roy Jones' record.

Suppose he meant, ''at the time''
Roy was 17-0-0 17 ko's when he fought Castro, who stayed on his feet and fought gamely..

I always find out the names to my favorite babes. I used to love her short lived series on Fox The Inside. She later ended up on Criminal Minds, which is basically the same show.

Castro has to be, one of the very last of real 'throwbacks' to have competed in the sport.. Had his last recorded bout in 2007, but would'nt surprise me, if he's still fighting somewhere..
Fought from lmw to cw over 25yrs or so, was a wba titlist at 160, 94-95.
His first fight with John David Jackson was fight of the year in 1994, and whadda fight!.. One of the greatest comebacks you'll ever see.
He went in with everyone too. RJJ, Duran,Terry Norris, Reggie Johnson, Jirov, and not hurt by any of them.. Jorge was a rare breed, big puncher with a granite chin.. Rarely trained, often fought, just a genuine hard bastard. 130-11-3 (90)ko

What do you lot think of him?
                    great fighter.
