These are normally unpredictable, fearless fighters with big hearts that betting shops would have a tough time calculating the odds. Most fight styles you can generally workout the winner and the outcome but these guys you could never really say they would be steamrolled by anyone. What would be your top 5 most undpredictable fighters?

Going back a few years - who could really count out Duran even at Middleweight? He shouldn't win - but he could. In today's world it should be anyone against Tyson Fury. But I wouldn't have been surprised if he beat Haye. (The point is moot now.)
And (taking the topic a little off onto a tangent) who's the underdog in the Lomenchenko -Salido fight? How can someone with one pro-fight; who has never gone over 4 rounds be the favorite against a tough veteran? And ... how can you overlook 400 amateur fights and being the top amateur for 5 yrs?

I thought Ali was unpredictable and lost many a penny betting on his fights. I lost money betting on Ali on the first Spinks and Frazier fights and lost money betting on Foreman and Ken Norton III. Looking back you couldn't find many more fighters as consistant or with a larger heart, except when I bet on him.
He was only was an underdog in the two Liston bouts and the Foreman bout but in those two he defied the odds.Last edited by TBear; 11-28-2013, 04:56 PM.

manny was the underdog in the lower weights alot, barrera 1, oscar, and probably to floyd if they fight,,
Not sure if he was underdog vs cotto or hatton, i wouldnt think so, but not out of the realm of possibility for him to be a dog to cotto and hatton was probably 50/50 at the time

Any fighter with less talent than his opponent but with a puncher's chance - Earnie Shavers comes to mind - is dangerous to bet against...

How many would bet on Floyd to beat Manny Pacquiao?
Also, Danny Garcia deserves a shout although he many no longer be regarded as an underdog.Last edited by SlySlickSmooth; 11-26-2013, 07:02 PM.
