Langford, and every man in Murderers Row, are not forgotten

Only by those redundant of any historical knowledge whatsoever

Wrong turn again... There's plenty of threads on uncrowned champs

Have to agree, Langford in particular is well remembered and spoken of

Many fans today wont know who he was but they also probably believe Mayweather Jnr created the shoulder roll....... Basically their limit opinion dont cut it in the history section!

Billy Bello died of an overdose in the 60's . He fought Gasper Ortega in
MSG? Bello was in his 20's

Kiko Bejines made the cover of Ring Magazine. I believe he died at age 21
          from ring injuries

I saw Bejines fight many times. He was a solid contender. I had no idea he was only 21. It seems he started at 15 and most of his losses were before he was 18.

Man, it amazes me when I hear of guys who became pro at 15 or 16. I remember fighting as an amateur then, and no matter how hard I trained, I would've been annihilated by any half decent pro like the young 15 year old boy I actually still was.

It's especially common in Mexico. That's how Cuevas and Margarito started.

                    • I believe Chavez too right? And I know Barrera started at that age.
