SRL would beat Floyd,,,

I think it would look alot like the benitez fight with SRL stalking floyd,, I dont think floyd gets stopped, but i think he would have way of stopping SRL, especially once SRL realizes floyd cant hurt him,,, then it would just be stalking and beating up on floyd,, his shoulder roll wont be effective vs SRL multi-punch combos, and Ray's left hook to the body and his jab would neutralize floyd IMO

The truth is that fight would have been a stinker..they were both series chess players
and they would have cancelled each other out.Both would be cautious throughout
the fight,with moments of quick shots then retreat.

It all comes down to size. Floyd is naturally much smaller and his power doesn't carry well into welterweight. If this were 130-135 it'd be a different story, but Leonard would never have made weight.

A lot has been said here about the Mayweather SRL match up, a lot of good info imo. I think another real problem for Floyd is that because of how he sets up after a punch he could not throw any combos.

Floyd had some adjustment issues with Judah because of Zab's raw speed. With guys like Cotto, Mosley and Canelo Floyd could easily hit accurately and avoid any counter attack. If Judah had better feet he would have been a bigger problem for Floyd but in any case Floyd would get hit with return fire fighting Sugar Ray Leanard. Leanard would chase him around after one of Floyd's accurate shots. What I realized watching Floyd is that the reason he is so accurate is because he throws one punch and then high tails it. He could not do this against Leonard and would not be strong enough to tie up Leanard

leonard is just to big and versatile to lose to Floyd jr. I am sure Floyd would give Ray some frustrating moments but not enough to earn a victory. Ray may stop Floyd as well.
