When you do the math...You realize that Ali was the greatest Heavy of all
times and number one or two of all time boxers considering Robinson.
The main reason is simple..no one in the history of boxing faced tougher
competition than Ali..His easy,tune -up fights were with Quarry and
Bonavena, for example,and today Quarry and Bonavena would be considered
very dangerous and both would mostly likely have been heavyweight
champion.The biggest blemish of course was Ali/Frazier 1 which Ali lost..
Ali simply lost the biggest fight in boxing history but people give him a
wink because he was off for three years.This was a management error
more than his..he should never have been rushed into the fight.

I slightly favor Louis among heavys, but don't have a problem with anyone ranking Ali at #1 all-time in that weight class either.

I rate him as #1 at heavy and i think h 2 h prime for prime he would beat Louis or just about anybody.
