are yoooou kidding? Wlads chin vs tysons? Tyson was never knocked out early by a big punch, took massive punches from Ruddock, lewis, balance shot knockdown from holyfield and was still on his feet when he got tkoed. Him getting counted out when he was old wasn't really his chin and more of his will to get back on his feet after taking a beating. If you tell me that Wlad could take the beatings and power from these guys to the chin that Tyson took, your not of this world
who's the best fighter in history you would pick Wlad to beat

Size and skill are a lethal combination, marciano would bull forward but would end up just taking abuse,
he would have a punchers chanceComment

Shavers was KO'd by Bob Stallings and Ron Stander. The 1970's was a great era for boxing, but sometimes sentiment distorts people memories. Sure Shavers could knock Klitschko out. But he probably wouldn't, and he sure as hell isn't outboxing him.Comment

yea,,,quarry also starched him in one round. obviously if shavers landed clean on wlad it would be goodnight but shavers really telegraphed his punches. wlads good enough defensively now to likely see them coming and avoid them while wearing shavers out with his jab and smothering tactics. I cant stand wlads new style but it does make it very difficult for one dimensional sluggers to find his chin and beat himComment

Yeah because Wlad never throws a one-two does he? Have you ever actually watched Wlad Klitschko? The nonsense you talk about him is beyond ridiculous.Comment

Sorry dude, but 20 consecutive jabs with a solitary right hand tossed in does not constitute "combination punching". Have you ever watched a fighter that actually DOES through combinations? Or are you too busy beating off in your ivory tower over philosophical theories who's relationship to the real world is both small and purely accidental?Comment

-awkward question, but I'll bite. Saw someone say Floyd Patterson. Wlad would squash Patterson like a fly in one round, if he came to fight. Maybe two. In a fantasy match-up I would pick Wlad to beat Norton if he could stop him within 6-7 rounds. Norton was strong late on and also had a tricky cross-arm defence that would be hard for a somewhat one-dimensional fighter to break down. I'd also pick Wlad to beat the likes of Langford, Charles, Walcott and probably Marciano unless Rocky could pull it out of the bag like he did against Walcott. He was prone to be outboxed. And Wlad would tower him. Maybe Dempsey, but he could get KO'd in that fight too.
I'd pick to him to beat Shavers too, old foreman, old Holmes, post '97 Tyson, current Holyfield.
Oh, and Michael Spinks. I'd pick him to beat him for sure.Comment
