The straight right is very powerful it has full hip rotation, BUT because its powered by rotation and it is a linear strike the force is not transmitted as effeciently as a right hook, so I presume again it isnt the most powerful punch.

The right uppercut is powerful gets full hip rotation, but the rotation is channeled up so the force may not be transmitted as effeciently as a purely rotational punch like the right hook, and it goes against gravity somewhat.

The right hook is the most powerful because it gets full hip rotation, the arc of the arm is congruent with the rotation of the body so its a pure punch, and it takes a long time to reach the target giving it plenty of time to build up speed.

What do you think is the most powerful punch and why?
Your in-depth analysis, overlooks the orthodox/southpaw stance factor. Also, the power of the punch - be it hook, cross or uppercut - is more dependent upon who is delivering it, than the punch itself.

There is no right answer. For the most part it depends on who is throwing the punch. Tyson and Foreman had deadly uppercuts. But for the most part a straight punch to the tip of the chin is the best punch.

You were taught correctly. For a technically correct orthodox (as opposed to southpaw) fighter a right hook is a big no-no as it leaves you wide open to a counter. The orthodox fighters that you see using it have some degree quirkiness in their fighting style that isn't textbook.

straight right or left depending on stance
an uppercut can be depends on how its delivered same with a left hook the gravity drag on a punch can be offset with the spring in the legs it all depends how its delivered if for instance your form is correct and so on any punch can be your most powerful period even 100 average men could use that psi tester and come up with 5 different punches or more there is no right answer and I don't think most of these answers are trolling but they are questioning who's stance or delivery is in question thus making the answer different like I said 100 average men at least 5 different correct answers my strongest punch for sheer power and effectiveness is the straight right or right cross possibly this is likely because I used to play baseball and my rotation is really good on those punches I am not a natural boxer but playing baseball for many many years starting very young the motion is really natural thus making it fluid and powerful

Take any power(straight, hooks, uppercuts, overhands) punch, and whichever punch that fighter just "feels" then there you go.
