I think ****** is the word you're looking for, not lucky. Peden didn't get lucky by winding up and cracking that left hook/uppercut into his chin....Campbell just got ******.

Hilarious moment though. Was a very good fight too.

        Ali vs Liston II.

Arguably the most iconic of all times

No such thing as a lucky KO punch.

Good choices, although they were more like lucky opportunities than lucky punches. Nothing lucky about the actual punches.

That is a good shout. Obviously Marquez against Pacquiao would have to be near the top as would Sergio Martinez against Paul Williams.

Before someone complains, these are lucky because even though the punches were thrown with the intention in mind, they all landed so advantageously because of the movements of the opponent in order to allow for one punch knockouts. I consider most, if perhaps not all, one punch knockouts to be lucky.

                  Well, what's a "lucky punch"?

To me, Liston got lucky (or Ali) that Walcott screwed up so bad moreso than Ali's anchor punch was luck. That was timed.

Also, Floyd's kayo of Ortiz was not so much luck as it was a combination of Ortiz being..well, let's just say it: ******, and FLoyd hitting him with a cheap shot.

To me, the punches that fall close to the "luck" category would be:

                  Marquez vs Pacquiao IV

Molinares vs Starling.....though, that was an after the bell punch

Jefferson vs Harris.....wild left hook while he was hurt

Foster vs Tiger.....both of 'em swinging away and BAM!! Left hook from nowhere

Nunn vs Kalambay....though, it could be argued this was just perfect timing

Eubank vs Watson II.....same as above....but sadder

                  McCallum vs Curry

I could go on and on; but really, IMO, in 9 out of 10 cases to use the word "lucky" to describe a knock-out punch discredits the skill of the fighter delivering it.

                    I don't believe in luck.

However, Jackson's Hail Mary punch against Herol Graham came out of nowhere.
