artists poets musicians boxers and just about any field you can think of are generally not appreciated untill they are dead or at least in decline it is very true so as far as modern fighters being undervalued for their achievements this is very true and to a lesser extent the old timers get made into monsters but not necessarily to the extent of making them something they were not the greats were still greats and there is no denying that and even myths have some truths I think the truth lays somewhere inbetween all of your somewhat skewed views no I am not heavyweightblogger just a realistic fan of boxing there is no black and white in these issues with the exception of color of skin

This thread has gone awry. Take the insults and name calling to NSB or the dome. And as much as I don't like the ridiculous opinion of at least one poster in this thread I'm not going to just boot people for that as long as they stay on the topic of boxing. I think K-Dogg did a pretty good job of shooting those theories down anyway.
