    (I will rank) Mine are:
    1. Roberto Durán
    2. Mike Tyson
    3. Muhammad Ali
    4. Joe Louis
    5. Sugar Ray Robinson
    6. Julio César Chavez, Sr.
    7. Alexis Arguello
    8. Larry Holmes
    9. Aaron Pryor
    10. Oacar De La Hoya
Forgive this young noob but Holmes? I've only seen a few vids of him and to me he seems to be a jab-jab safety first type of boxer. I guess I'm wrong.

What are some of his best fights?

      1. I don't need to defend or debate any of my selections, based solely on personal taste. If Homes doens't impress you, so be it.
      2. The jab was Holmes' best offensive weapon, used to soften-up oppenents for heavier artillery, NOT FOR SAFETY.
      3. Second only to Joe Louis in number of successful title defenses, Holmes very best was vs America's Greatest White Hope - Gerry Cooney.

There was nothing wrong with your post. You deserved a more gracious response.
