Which boxers had the most snap/leverage in their punches?

I only watched him on youtube for a few rounds, he seems to be schooled well. As I said he doesn't sink his body shots into the body. He's pulling his hands out instead of digging them in.
As far as leverage and balance with a two handed attack it doesn't get much better than Marciano. Marciano is capable of stopping his opponents from the second round till the last round! His short arms were a limitation when he began boxing and wound up being why his leverage and arm angle was so efficient when delivering a punch. Rocky rarely had his arms fully extended when they landed, he had that beautifull elbow bend that added so much power to his punches!
I plan to watch Bute, Ward, Wilder, Fury and a few others that I've never seen box before! I do appreciate Broner, Garcia, Donaire, Rigo and a few others. I'm very big on correct technique, then if theres power there I'm very happy to watch that! I see technique in Marciano to LoMatta just because they're not upright and boxing in an amatuers form doesn't mean they're not skilled and have worked hard on perfecting timing and steps and then gageing distance to their advantage!!! Frazier, Dempsey, Marciano, Tyson and others are in charge once they get inside. It takes skill and dedication to fight in their style and theres beauty in it just like watching Pep, B.Leonard, Tunney Charles to Ali!!

Cool. I like Ward and Garcia too. I'd be interested to find out what you think of Ward and Danny Garcia's technique. Garcia I've seen maybe 2-3 times on TV. In the Khan fight, looked like he was throwing more looping, roundhouse punches than straight ones, but maybe that's just when he has an opponent hurt.

most pro fighters should have good snap. as far as snap and leverage well yes marciano seemmed never to throw a punch without good leverage and with his short arms and thick forearms was great on the inside . dempsey, frazier, tyson [when tyson decided to body punch] were murder inside also. most snap- who knows. most leverage maybe marciano that i have seen. satterfield also had alot of leverage. cooney for a big guy had alot of snap .

Most of the fights i have watched in the last two years, the guys were swinging their punches. No snap. A real extreme example of a guy really 'snapping' his punches, watch mugabi in the first few rounds against Hagler.

When Roy Jones Jr was at middleweight and super middleweight he had tremendous snap on his punches.

You all mentioned excellent names, but I'd put my vote for Muhammad Ali. I've seen enough fights to know a master at work, so believe me when i tell you, that Ali's jab was something else. No one, managed a punching technique like that while floating in the ring. And that 'snap' of his, you say, was most impressive.
