Personally, he's one of my favourite fighters - even though I never saw him fight live. But back in the day I used to wait (sometimes more than 2 months) for the results of his bouts.
Funnily enough, my girlfriends family are fans of his but from Thai tv, not from his boxing career.
Based purely on his fighting his stats are very impressive but there are other fighters who fought tougher opposition.
Somewhere in around 4th all time.

I used to really enjoy watching him fight I liked his I will stalk you and ko you attitude a bit one paced maybe but he usually got his intended victim . For me right up there with the best of the weight class but I know some criticise him for not unifying tittles during his long spell as champ.

I haven't seen some of his fights in years, but i saw him as a powerful southpaw that had more ring savy than that was given to him. How high as a SFW does he belong? I can't see him below three, he had many defenses and few SFW champs ever bothered to unify all the titles. Unlike some Asian champs in Japan or South Korea, Galaxy did fight in other countries and won most of his bouts by KO.
If you saw his twin brother fight than you notice that genetics didn't extend to ring IQ. He was more craftier than his brother Khaokor.
