Liston takes Klitchko as far as I'm concerned. The fight with Foreman is competitive and hard to call. Lewis? Personally I wouldn't gamble on him. Liston has the better jab, the better inside game, and every punch is dangerous , not just the straight right hand.

No, he never said that. He said is the boxer and his brother is more like fighter. It has something with Wlad is purer boxer while Vitali did many fighting sports not just boxing.

He is much faster fighter than all of three you listed above and his defense is the best out there. I agree it would be very difficult for him if he gets in with Lennox/Foreman inside but it is a very very tough job to do. He perfected his style to avoid this by any cause. If you just try to get inside most likely you will get caught by big right or be jabbed to death.

Forman would have a better chance due to better chin. I can't really see Lennox coming inside easily as Wlad is much faster, better lateral move fighter with big punching power and Lennox's chin is not particularly good. (but don't get me wrong I see prime for prime Lennox vs Wlad 50:50 fight).

Very prime Tyson would give this version of Wlad much more problems than both Lennox or Foreman.

good post, dont think wlad can do well under a pressure fighter like a prime tyson who was quick and good head movement but foreman would destroy wlad just like corrie sanders did

If all the great heavyweight champions throughout history were around, I think the rankings would look like this:

            Champion: M. Ali

            Contenders:
            1. L. Lewis
            2. G. Foreman
            3. L. Holmes
            4. V. Klitschko
            5. J. Louis
            6. J. Frazier
            7. M. Tyson
            8. S. Liston
            9. W. Klitschko
            10. E. Holyfield

This is solely based on each fighter being prime and on how they would do against each other. I have Holyfield lower than many would expect simply because I think he could be stopped by guys like Foreman, Liston and Vitali.

Wow. I rank Lewis very highly, but are people really thinking his chin is going to hold up against the likes of a Louis, Liston, or Foreman? And he'd have a devil of a time keeping a guy like Frazier off of him.

lewis's chin wouldnt be able to withstand hard pucnhes from alot of the guys lewis beat but u gotta get to his chin first. Frazier would give lewis trouble with his pressure but frazier will get smashed alot with that jab and i dont think frazier could take his punches. Lewis-liston similar reach, similar chin, similar power but lewis wins coz hes just the better boxer. foreman though would have the biggest chance, id probably give it to foreman to win by KO in the early rounds, lewis would have to work very hard to keep foreman away. Louis is tiny compared to lewis, not a swarmer, not a great chin, as long lewis is focused and not get caught, probably the easiest fight for lewis

Old timer, just because they fought on black and white tv, it doesn't make them superior.
