I can't imagine being that lethargic about boxing history.
I have far too many interests to be as in-depth as you might be about boxing history in genaral and about Ezzard Charles in particular. I have to budget my leisure time. Most of what I know about boxing history is what I recall off the top of my head. If I'm interested in a given topic or a fighter, I will do my homework, but if I'm indifferent, I'll venture a guess without fear of being wrong. I'm man enough to stand corrected.

And don't get my started on the glaring omissions... Duh!
you mean, in the top twenty, or as a whole (100)?

I'd say about half the guys you omitted belong in the top 100. at least.

I honestly wouldn't gripe if someone called him the GOAT.

He's the king of one of the most competitive weight classes in history, and was HW Champion of the World, to boot.

Ezzard Charles has an argument to have THE best resume in the history of the sport.

He is Top 5, at the very lowest.

On a lighter note, **** Tiger being the in Top 10 P4P list is the best thing I've seen.

I agree that Ezzard Charles would crack the top ten as a heavyweight, but as a P4P ATG, I rank him below 20. Upon further review, I would rank Sam Langford somewhere between 11 and 16.

How could I? Well, you should know the answer by now...
No offense dude but you have a lot more research to do before you start making such lists. I realise it's your opinion, but it's not about being individual, it's more about knowing what you're talking about.

I do too, but I have no idea why you think Charles qualifies for top ten at heavyweight, but not top 20 P4P. His resume at light-heavy is simply amazing. Whereas at Heavyweight he is nothing special in comparison to the other heavyweight ATGs

                      I'm afraid I don't
