  • What style boxer was Foreman considered?

Was he considered a swarmer, brawler, or boxer-puncher?

I'm gonna say brawler, at least in his younger days. Maybe boxer/puncher when he made his comeback, even though he slowed down.

Against Ali I would peg him as "Sloppy Amateur".

Slugger, puncher, brawler, whatever you want to call him. He looked for the knockout and had no intentions on winning a decision.

                  Young Foreman: Slugger
                  Old Foreman: Boxer-Puncher

Pre-rope-a-dope: Slugger, brawler, swarmer (pick your adjetive).

Post-rope-a-dope: Boxer-puncher (box with the left jab, punch with the right cross) Don't believe me? Ask Michael Moorer.
