IMO, Foreman.

The guy beat 3 Top 10 ATG's in his weight class, IMO, Foreman, Liston and Frazier.

It's an incredible feat.

Again on the pound for pound front don't forget that Ali beat Bob Foster. He seems to find his way into the top 5 of many ATG light heavyweight listings.........although granted Archie Moore deserves to be higher.

But Ali's best win against an ATG was against Foreman. That ranks as more impressive for me than beating Liston in his 30s.

Ali did what all champions should do is beat the best that are around at the time his greatest rival was joe frazer who he beat 2 out three times. He conquered both liston and foreman when he was not favored. I guess if I had to pick one atg he beat it would be foreman in zaire because Ali was getting older and George was just destroying competion like Frazier and Norton.

I'd agree.

Some might have Foster higher in pound for pound terms though. I'm not convinced personally.
