    This being said, it still is after that fight that the Yankee Stadium stopped presenting boxing, correct me if I’m wrong. Whatever the reason, it was a big loss for the sport.
    You weren't wrong about the event leaving some residual damage afterwards (and I wasn't there). And the decision did cause controversy. The backlash was from the fans who had an unpleasant experience and Yankee Stadium which was concerned about their reputation. But it's a different era, and stadium fights in NY (among other places) are a lot more difficult to make now because of the high state taxes.

      Yes true, the Cotto-Foreman fight in 2010 was the first fight in the new Yankee Stadium and the first Yankee Stadium boxing since Ali/Norton 3 in 1976. I remember they kept mentioning that during and leading up to the broadcast of that fight.
