I dont think he was better than Cotto was, not greater than Cotto. I cant see why, his resume is not that great and his skills are just okay, like Cottos. Tbh if you look at Palominos resume, is very thin.
Cotto beat a Mosley better than anyone Palomino beat.

      Peace.

You mean a past-it Shane Mosley who was 5 years out of his prime? This isn't about you underrating Palomino's resume it's overrating Cotto's.

Skills "just okay"? Palomino was a very good body puncher. Body punching IS a skill you know. I can't think of anything Cotto does that I'd classify as very good other than that he's game and comes to fight something that applies to Palomino as well.

Lets compare their losses at 147. Palomino lost decisions to Duran and Benitez. Cotto was stopped by Margarito and Mini Pac Man.

I've seen them both fight live, and it would be a hell of a fight with both in their prime. No way Cotto wins in a 15 rounder though.

Cant hold that against him too much, Duran was Fantastic that night!

I really like Palomino, his body shots were sick and he always came in shape and ready for a long hard fight if need be

It would actually be a cracking match up wouldnt it!?

I like Cotto over 12 though

I would go with carlos over cotto.and margarito. It would would be interesting to see if his body punching would give pac man troubles.
