I would take Morales in this one, I don't see a knock out though. Both guys had very good power but I just don't see the Black Mamba being able to work Morales over on the inside Morales would have his way. Either fighter could be dropped for an 8 count in this one but I see Morales winning by decision after 12 tough rounds.

To the TS, great match-up you thought of here.........Rockin'

Have to take motivation into account. Morales looked flat and why wouldn't he? Happens. Roger liked, sometimes loved, to war in his prime and Morales did too. Mayweather would fight him and that chin would get him in trouble both assumed at the top of their game. I'll take Morales by stop.

Why would you think that? I really can't imagine Morales having his way with Roger on the inside.

Roger Mayweather was one-punch KOd by Rocky Lockridge....a guy not known for that kind of power.

Morales had lost a lot of power by the time he hit 130lbs, but it's not like you needed to hit all that hard to damage Mayweather.

So right after the biggest win of his career, Morales was washed up. How ****ing convenient. After getting KO'd by Pacquiao twice, then Morales was over the hill. Thats when he went to 135, which was a much more comfortable weight for him at that stage of his career. Raheem was simply an awful matchup for him.

I agree his logic is flawed and plays on convenience, but Mayweather could be drawn into a slugfest and wouldn't fight the same as Tandem. Just my opinion of course.

Its not convenient at all. Any fighter is going to be washed up in their 50th pro fight, coming off 2 wars in less than 5 months. Raheem wasn't even good enough to beat Rocky Juarez its silly to think he was any kind of matchup problem for Morales.

FYI Morales moved to 135(to fight Raheem) after beating Pacquiao then moved back down to superfeather for the 2nd and 3rd fight.

Your stats don't matter. If Morales was able to win a legit decision against a prime Manny Pacquiao, he wasn't washed up. High mileage? Sure. But not washed up in his very next fight just because it makes your point. And the only reason Morales moved back down to 130 was because it was by far the biggest payday out there for him. And if I remember correctly, Raheem was screwed over by the hometown Texas referee in the Juarez fight. If other matchup even really matter.

you could be right, I just don't recall Mayweather being that good on the inside, but then again I havent watched many of his fights. I may be wrong about that so it's good that you are pointing that out to me. If I have some time tomorrow I will look deeper into it and let you know what I come up with......Rockin'

2 wars in less than 5 months going in to your 50th pro fight is pretty much a gurantee that you're shot. Especially at the lower weights.

And Raheem wasn't screwed in that fight, he was warned like a dozen times about pulling Juarez head and punching and got what he deserved.
