        7 george foreman
        8 joe frazier
        9 joe louis

        (1) Vitali Klitschko
        (2) Wladimir Klitschko
        (3) Lennox Lewis
        (4) Ali
        (5) George Foreman
        (6) Joe Frazier
        (7) Larry Holmes
        (8) Evander Holyfield
        (9) Buster Douglas
        (10) Mike Tyson

These were my favourites. Buster Douglas managed to crack the top 10 twice.

Public polls for this sort of thing are amusing in a gut-wrenching way.

I still don't understand why so many people think Tunney is a great heavyweight.

Some serious howlers in that poll.....I'm guessing there's a few people posting who haven't actually watched much boxing.

It'll be interesting to see if it produces a good list, that is if the anomalies cancel one another out/are rare enough for any given fighter that they make no impact to speak of.

Even though there were probably plenty of heavyweight champions he could have beaten, Tunney belongs with the light heavies just like Archie Moore, Michael Spinks, and Roy Jones.

I can't even decide on my first choice. How do I choose between Wladimir and Vitali?
