As a kid, I recall seeing a heavyweight tournament on TV in the early '90's, I believe. I remember Tony Tubbs emerged victorious. I don't know what it pertained to but can someone refresh my memory? You know, even though Tubbs was known to often fight while out of shape, he did have some pretty good boxing skills back in the day...

Was it on ESPN or the West ******ia state fair?, I can only remember Tyson hitting him and 2-3 seconds later falling, hard to comeback after that.

I think you're mistaken a bit. Tyson was not a part of it. This may've been immediately after he had gone to prison in '92.

I remember ordering it and after I decided to pass if they did it again. They did offer a cash bonus for kos if I remember correctly. If they did this today with contenders and made it 10 rounds it would be great, much like the great tourneys at the Great Western Forum in the 90's.
I don't even watch the Prizefighter(UK) tourneys now because watching 3 round bouts are pointless with the pros.
