Buddy McGirt was about as technically sound a fighter as you could see. Look at his title winning efforts against Frankie Warren and Simon Brown. Complete domination of both, and to do that to Simon Brown was highly impressive.

For me its probably Wilfredo Benitez, he was just so pleasing on the eye to watch with every subtle movement oozing class. A Smooth operator

I read this old article on a prime Benitez a while back and loved this line (I dont have it in front of me but im sure this was it)

"One simply does not just watch Benitez when he moves, you study him. Whether he is under pressure on the ropes from a sparring partner or simply sauntering down the hallway on the way back to his room, Benitez is a man whose movement is so full of subtleties that to gain any hint of his mood or feelings you must study him like you would a clever and capable animal."

A little different from the usual names, but I say Mike Tyson.

No he wasn't a "stylist", but to me, his style was beautiful. His combinations were artistic to me, especially his patented right hook to the body, right uppercut to the head combination.

His punches were a joy to watch.

I was thinkin Ray Leonard & Duran also. Ali for being one of the originals to apply huge variations in tactics to accomodate the opponent & the stage he was at in his later career & prevail against the odds
