Do you guys keep a notebook of scorecards? Or perhaps an Excel spreadsheet?

I don't ever write it down, I just keep a tally in my head of how many rounds I have scored either way. And I can't help but score fights as I watch them, whether it's the first time or the 50th.

I'm posting in Boxing History, because I think it's more likely to be interesting to the folks on this forum than in the main... not everyone keeps notebooks of cards from fights they watch!
That looks like a great site, I think I'll register and upload a couple of my scorecards.

Thanks! We're so happy about people using it!

The next thing we're working on is downloading all the scores someone has entered into a spreadsheet. Right now you can see all the cards you've entered on your profile page, we'd like some way to save that off.

Good idea for a site. I used to use index cards to score fights on and did save them for years but in time I let it go and threw them away. For big fights I used to hand them out to company that came over to watch the ppv's. Someone would gather the cards at the end of the fights and total them. For the second Spinks-Holmes I had 21 people that did cards and 20 had Holmes ahead. In the mid eighties I started recording every fight on tv and for every fight I made an index card with all the bouts details through 2005. Still have those cards(thousands of them) but unfortunitely they have no scores on them.

i deal with enough spreadsheets at work

              truck that, lol.

scribbling on a napkin is about as good as it gets for me for a live fight. if the fights are big enough i'm usually far too amped to have an open laptop nearby.
lately i've been watching fnf and showbox and commenting along with the people on the forum in between rounds.

for big ppv fights i usually have a couple friends over and we get bombed

if i'm really trying to score a fight i'll usually try and watch it twice, or for a second time the morning after. and that's almost always when examining a fight that is considered a robbery.

Heh. I spose you have a point. Perhaps not a lot of people will want to keep an up-to-date spreadsheet of all their cards. (But for those few who do, they will just love Eye On The Ring if they find it!)

I'd like to do that too... but I don't know how to do it yet. There are a few out there already, but I think the free ones are bad (so I've heard).
