Do you guys keep a notebook of scorecards? Or perhaps an Excel spreadsheet?

If you do, I'm hoping you'd check out this site I helped build called Eye On The Ring. It's basically like Rotten Tomatoes, except instead of films, there's fights you can score and rate. Our goal is to create an on-line repository for all user cards so you can compare yours with friends' and experts'. Check it out if you've got some time.

I'm posting in Boxing History, because I think it's more likely to be interesting to the folks on this forum than in the main... not everyone keeps notebooks of cards from fights they watch!

Used to have a notepad that I wrote my scores on. However I lost it as the need for materials due to exam study increased.

I sometimes find scorecards lying around from random fights I've done.

      Usually just pieces of paper.

Back in one of my older homes I remember I used to find scorecards from decades ago.

But I never score fights whilst I watch them live. Just always took the fun away, for me.

Same here. It's my opinion that you don't see a fight the same way when you try to score rather than just absorb it.

Im the same, first time u watch a fight u just want to enjoy it! What is odd though is sometimes after watching a fight u FEEL one guy has won it but upon doing and reviewing a scorecard realise the other guy deserved it....

Interesting! I think scoring the fight live makes it more enjoyable for me. But I can see what you guys are saying. I always keep my scorecard, I might try a few fights without and see if I watch with different eyes.

That would actually be a good idea for an iPhone/Andriod app.

Too bad I'm too ****** to make anything of it -_-

I find old programmes from fights I've been to from years ago which might have some value with my scrawl over them scoring rounds
Great idea for a site, I'll make a point of visiting

I occasionally score fights as I watch them, but like others have said I prefer just relaxing and watching a fight.

If I disagree with the outcome I'll re watch and score it! Great idea for a site mate, best of luck.
