Perhaps your right, but he basically has an ATG chin ala Toney and I always figured it was underrated.

Wlad's Heart and Lewis's chin are big ones. Lennox Lewis had a very good chin like most of you mentioned, he took a massive amount of punishment from Mercer, Briggs, Vitali, Bruno, etc and never went down. Wlad's heart is big too, he got destroyed against Sanders and Brewster but he kept trying and attempting to go back at it.

Tyson's heart to me is underrated as well. He took some mean beatings from Holyfield and Lewis, of course it could be he was too dumb too quit, regardless pretty big heart.

LOL also underrated is Holyfield and Roy Jone's bank accounts. I honestly don't think their broke or even need money. I think holyfield is very well off, he just is addicted to boxing, It's his drug.

The Tyson heart one always griped me.

For a "destroyer" to take a smashing from Buster Douglas and not lose it during the fight is astonishing for someone who has a "weak heart."

He even tried (and did) get up.

I think Tyson's problem in those fights was that he was too scared to be effective but too proud to fall.

On that subject, Tyson's intelligence in and out of the ring is very much underrated. His mind is clearly something special, but his temper in his younger days clouded that up.

Maybe Roy, but Holyfield is legitimately broke. He declared bankruptcy and had to sell off his stuff.

Hearns's bodypunching seems to get overlooked. He had a murderous left hook to the body.

Froch's chin is good, but I think people tend to get carried away with it at times.

Leonard's left hook was a great one that I think gets overlooked. I think you can argue he had an ATG left hook.

Hopkins' size at LHW. Against Tarver he looked like a full sized LHW

Tyson himself after the fight said if this were the younger version of Holmes he would have difficulty. But ring rust was the main factor as you said.

This was totally true during his prime, but is it still true today?

(As far as the thread goes, I second whoever said Tyson's heart....)
