Man, Klitschko brothers will give "Smokin" Joe Frazier one hell of a battle like the George Foreman fight all over again.

Also, I never said he doesn't belong in anyone's ATG. My point was and is that people should consider the Klitschko brothers (or at least one of them) to be an ATG.

And the issue right now is different the man is dying of cancer way different from a "fantasy fight" discussion. I never wish for the guy to die.

Live by that moral saying because if not then you live your life in bitterness and that can get toxic quick.

Considering the Kiltschko's punching style plays directly into Fraziers bobbing and weaving unlike Foremans wild swinging punches coupled with the fact the Klits punches are no way as concussive as Foremans I think it's silly to say it would be like the Formean fight all over again.

Foreman is the single worst style match up for Frazier.

over the last couple of years i have read many posters comments on this forum without ever responing. Those posters have trashed Smokin Joe Frazier claiming him to not be an ATG Top 10 fighter, they have rubbished his acheivments and claimed he would be slaughtered by the likes of Klitschko brothers & Lewis etc. Now those same posters are posting comments about how great Joe Frazier was now that he is suffering from Liver Cancer. `what a bunch of hypocrites`

So if you don't think Frazier would have beaten Klitschko, Lewis, etc, then you can't pay tribute to the man and his career? Or be saddened by his grave illness? That really sounds very childish. You should learn to distinguish nitpicking through fantasy matchups/all time ratings and real life and death situations. Real boxing fans all respect Joe Frazier.

I echo that DT this sad news must be hitting you harder than most on here.
As for people who have possibly criticised Frazier in the past now paying tribute to him, that strikes me as a class act rather than a hypocritical one.
Any man who climbs those 4 steps into a ring at any level deserves respect, a fighter like Joe who only lost to two of the greatest deserves more respect than most

LOL Jab has always been a frazier SUPPORTER. . . in fact, if anything, Jab has DEFENDED frazier against people who said he is overrated, etc. . .

Me and Jab don't see eye to eye on the Klitschko brothers, but Jab is pretty fair when it comes to gauging fighters from past fistic eras.

I've always been a fan of Frazier, but I did, and still do think he would get beat by a lot of top guys. . . I have criticized Joe's game. . . While I think he is a HOF fighter all the way, and a LEGEND, I don't think he's a top 10 HW. . . That doesn't mean I can't mourn his current state just the same as a guy who claims he is a top 10 ATG, and who disagreed with me on Joe's ability.

I think Joe's a tad overrated as a fighter, but I still love watching him fight and respect the hell out of him as a man. And even if I didn't, it's always sad when you see someone who was used to be physically dominant a shell of himself and near the end.
