Jess Willard with Willie Pep's speed, Dempsey's mongrel, Tyson's hate, Tony Zale's left to the body, Les Darcy's chin, SRR's left hook, Fitzsimmon's solar-plexus punch, Rocky Marciano's right cross, Frank klaus's infighting ability, Joe Louis's jab, Ali's head movement and Battling nelson's attitude and then I would say that Willard is the best fighter in history........ and just add Langford's ring experience and Willard never loses in 1000 fights.--------------------- But then again, that guy doesn't sound much like big jess.

SRL straight right was already pretty good though. Hearns was long because of his reach but his main power shot was his right hook, and even his left hook at times.

SRL had a great straight right.

Tyson a jab. . . I know short guys usually don't have to have excellent jabs to be effective because their short arms allows them to turn over hooks so well, but I think if Tyson had a Cotto-like jab - a nice, thudding "power jab", he would be able to set his devastating hooks and uppercuts up even better. . . He already had a good jab as he was very technically proficient, but it could have been better as it abandoned it somewhat.

And Wladimir Klitschko a right uppercut! Give his opponents another reason to fear for their life trying to come in. . .
