the guy had a brutal offensive style
a guy like dawson who is hardly offensive isn't going to be able to take advantage of that
hell, i don't think he'd even slow his roll.

he'd take his little half steps back and shoot that little throw away jab with nothing behind it, and muhammad would eventually catch up to him.


i think he'd press him with that funky looking jab of his and eventually start getting close enough to land his bombs (he's one of the hardest punchers ever, in his division or otherwise)

Looking at the Glen Johnson and Jean Pascal fights, I just can't see Dawson being able to hold Saad Muhammad off.

MSM is a come forward aggressive fighter, Dawson is one of the most unaggressive guys ive seen.

True. I thought you meant that Dawson would be a difficult match-up for Saad Muhammad. He was a fighter who found out whether you were championship material or not, and so far Dawson hasn't shown that type of mentality.

I would favor Saad but not as easily as most are making it out to be. Saad had major trouble with fighters I don't consider as talented as Dawson including Vonzell Johnson and Murray Sutherland. Saad would come on late and win this but this is no easy fight for him.
