Its not a good enough fight to rewatch but I had Chavez clearly winning before Whitaker's barrage of low blows

Like I said its not a good enough fight to rewatch(for the 5th time or whatever) and score. Either way Whitaker didn't win and its that simple

One of the great things in that fight is that Pea fought Chavez's fire with fire. Chavez was a ****** dirty fighter for years, a king of ****ing below the belt. Pea went lower, dirtier, and brought the first signs of the whiny, spoiled, entitled punk who emerged in Chavez and took so much away from his legacy late in his career (especially between 93-96).

LOL if 93-96 took away from Chavez legacy then I guess Tito beat the legacy out of Pernell.

The difference is that Whitaker fought 12 rounds with a broken jaw. Chavez punked out and quit in the Randall rematch to avoid losing and possibly getting knocked out. A little blood was too much for Chavez to handle.

Sc Trijan, for the last time, your'e lying to yourself and us. Deep down you know Pernell won the fight. Your love for Chavez is obvious. He was one of my favorites also. He just didn't win this fight
