How did you score the fight? and why didn't they ever get a rematch?

I haven't watched it since it happened, but back than I thought Mancini won. Of course I was always a fan of "Boom Boom" and detested Camacho, so at the time I was probably viewing through biased eyes.

Strange but after the fight they were both gung ho for a rematch. Perhaps Mancini figured Greg Haugan would be an easier fight.

I didn't score it at the time but I remember it was suprising close. I would not disagree with anyone that had Mancini winning. The reason I said "suprising" is that Mancini was the big underdog due to his layoff and before he retired it was rumored he wanted nothing to do with fighting Camacho. One of the few times in history where a fighter comes out of retirement without a tuneup and does pretty good in a big bout.

That fight was my first pay per view. What a boring fight it was. The reason that there was never a rematch was because the first one stuck up the house. Mancini had been off for a few years and this was after Camacho was exposed in the Rosario fight. I doubt if I would have watched a rematch of that fight even if it was free on television. It was that bad...........Rockin'

Camacho whipped Mancini's ass. Keith McDonald's score of 116 - 112 for Mancini was bias! A white boy vote!! Ray would never beat Macho in anything!
