    Roger Mayweather vs Marcos Maidana

    How does the 1987 Roger Mayweather who managed to give Pernell Whiataker a tough fight at 135lb, & that same year win the WBC 140lb via KO fair against the current Marcos Maidana.

          Maidana's power is overrated.

          If Roger can go 10 Rounds and be competitive with Chavez then he can go 100 rounds with Maidana.

          And he beats him, easy.

            Corley in his prime was more durable than Mayweather but the one that fought Maidana definitely wasn't and much easier to hit and far less offensively potent then a prime Roger.

                Roger wins a close but clear UD,Maidana is crude but his ability too get his shots in is underrated,i can see a few scary moments for Sr

                  While I totally agree his power is overrated. He is heavy handed.

                  But alot of the time that type of Math dosent work out.

                  Rocky Lockridge put him away quicker than anyone, dosent mean he punched harder than Chavez or Tyszu.

                  And I you gotta admit if Freddie Pendelton can KO him cold at 130lb, Maidana has to be in with a good chance at 140lb.
