I remember seeing Buchannan many times on live TV. He was an excellent technician, but he had no serious power. Pacquiao's speed and power would have overwhelmed him similar to the way Duran did. Just a bad matchup for Ken. I do think it would go the distance though.

This, plus Pac is a southpaw. Not many southies come at you with that sort of speed and pop. By 35, the Pacquiao right was emergent as a factor as well. probably would have been his best weight class (or 40) if not for the $ at 47 to chase.

Manny walks right over him, Buchanan doesn't have the power to keep Manny off and even if he did I still think Pacquiao's just too fast

I tip pacquiao too, but your lack of respect for fighters is started to be tiring. Apart from your heroes, the rest you call bums. Do you go to a gym and spar ????... do you go to a gym and sacrifice years of your life and work like a demon, always training and sleeping on a hardwood board like some of the guys who have graced the ring, I respect them all, ALL of them........ even Mundine (but he is a tool)...... what about a guy like Daniel Geale,... is he a bum ???/,... or are you a fanboy ???... because there seems to be no middle ground with you.

It should be said that Roberto Duran repeatedly stated that Buchanan was the toughest man he ever fought. Which is a nice caveat to add to any boxer's CV.
