How so?

One things for sure, Roy never fought a LHW of Spink's class, so you can't be too sure of how Roy shapes up. Spinks at LHW was quicker than most MW's, Roy had the speed advantage in all of his fights too so that is the same as what you said about MS. I think Spinks is the likely winner but I think if Jones went into the fight as the agressor and fought at a faster pace than he usually did then sure, maybe he could win,..... but he has to be very agressive,.... we know what can happen to Spinks if his opponent spooks him.

The two ATG matches that I think are toughest for Roy are Foster and Spinks. Both had enough speed to compete with him, both could crack, and both were taller than him. At least 4-5 inches. Roy was a smallish Light Heavyweight and stacks up better with guys like Conn who was about his size without the same pop. Jones-Harold Johnson would be fascinating. He'd have more chance with Spinks than Foster but I don't see him getting by either.

I think Conn would beat Roy,......... Would Roy even last 3 rounds with Joe Louis,, I don't think so. Roy would have too much to handle with Tommy Loughran,.... and the Mongoose would have murdered him,...... Harold Johnson V Jones would be even, as long as Roy stays away from Johnsons power.......... I think Loughran is way too underrated, that dude was seriously great.

Roy said you fight a boxer and box a fighter. He wouldn't sit on the outside against a significantly taller man he would be aggressive like he was against Hill(who is very similar to Spinks but not as tall and has less power).

Conn could actually match Roy in speed. Interesting matchup. I'd favor Roy but wouldn't feel very comfortable putting money on it.
