When I was younger, I always thought Big George was the most intimidating cause he always had so much power... Mike Tyson also was when he was younger but I'd figure he'd just render you senseless without punishing you all that much. Michael Dokes had a very intimidating stare...

I suppose these guys like Liston and Tyson were the most intimidating when they were undefeated cause they had that aura of invincibility. You don't know they can be beat until it happens! But once they suffer 1 or 2 losses they become significantly less intimidating.

A lot of Tyson's persona was an act, but with Liston, that persona was coming straight from a childhood of torture and neglect.
