Heard somewhere that Bonavena knocked Chuvalo down, haven't seen the fight though, need to look into it some more.

        Jose Napoles
        Billy Graham
        Joey Archer
        Sixto Escobar
        Wayne McCullough

That was against Dee Collier, who was NOT a big puncher. I'm of the opinion that they may have been doing some business on the side.

Also, there are several journeymen fights who fought quality opposition but were never floored. Heavyweights Leroy Caldwell, Marvin Stinson, Ross Puritty & Marion Wilson are examples.

Was Ernie Terrell & Chuck Wepner off their feet?

            Paul Gonzalez?

I know Orlando dropped Paul in their first fight, but lost a decision....and I don't remember him getting floored himself.

Oh sorry, I'm Australian,.................. I thought I had upset you......... It's a good thread, really,......... thanks for clearing that up,.... It's a good thread because there are fighters who qualify here,,,,,,, but few and far apart,.... so you have to research hard to find them,, fighters like Darcy are easy to find of course, because of their Fame. But there are less famous ones that are very hard to come Across,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, --------------------------- I also nominate Jim Jeffries,..... forget the Johnson fight, it shouldn't even be discussed when discussing Jims record, he retired as champion undefeated,,,,,,,- ------------------------------------ Jimmy Carruthers also retired as undefeated champion...... he went back after many years of retirement, and,,,,,,,,,,, obviously it was a disaster,,,, Why JIMMY ??.......... WHY DID YOU HAVE TO MAKE a COMEBACK ?????????

Dee Collier dropped him multiple times in Round 1 in 1985.

Yeah, I'm sure Paul knocked him down in the first fight as well as going down himself, will have to watch it again though. Might not be that fight though, as I said I'm not sure.

Did anyone ever drop the tough, smart 70's welterweight Harold Weston?
