    lol great post

i find myself poking holes in my own arguments when talking about pacquiao

when reading my own post i was thingin "but he docked cotto 2 lbs when he was struggling at WW anyway! and he looked very drawn at the weigh in and much less vascular in the fight. oscar got his orbital bone cracked by stevie forbes and looked god awful! hatton had been ballooning up to a reported 200 lbs drinking in between fights (and doing go knows what else,) and retired after the fight"

Thanks, I feel the same way about Floyd Mayweather Jr also.

There will be plenty of time for lists, and debates, and all the rest of that fun stuff after they fight eachother and/or retire. I mean, of course they're both great fighters. Just how great remains to be seen...

I'll be 100% honest, and I hope to not get into something big, but....

I have smelled something fishy since December 2008. Maybe I just can't fathom someone having the success Pacquiao has had since that time? I guess it's because I've never seen a fighter seemingly peak at 126-130....and then get BETTER 17lbs north of that.

P4P it's hard to believe that he could come all the way up to featherweight and still hurt good opposition.

I would still rank a bunch of other guys ahead of him though..

There is definately a case for Pacquiao in at least vthe top 20,... but really you can't compare littl'uns to bigguns,.... and there is a case for the LW division as the real all-time Deepest division,.... lets face it, there are 5 times as many ATG Lw's than HW's,.... put your top 50 up here ASAP, you may find the task impossible.
Pacquiao ain't a flyweight, man. He started there when he was an emaciated little kid in the Philippines. He's naturally more like a featherweight. Still, to be obliterating career welterweights is pretty impressive.

At 122 and 126, he was a pretty ridiculous puncher. Underratedly so IMO.
